following Chip¹s death. Each member was asked to share memories and thanksgivings for the life of Chip

Eternal God, for the life of our friend and mentor, Chip Mueller, we give you thanks.  We remember her with
love.  We are grateful to have shared sacred space and holy time with Chip in this EFM community.

We treasure Chip¹s great enthusiasm and joy for life as a clown, kayaker, doting grandmother, juggler and
storyteller.  We especially remember...

We remember Chip as the extrovert of extroverts.  She never met a person she didn¹t call a friend or a group
she didn¹t call family.  She touched many lives and many of us were made better people by knowing her.  We
especially remember...

We remember Chip as a spiritual pilgrim who struggled with and relished in her journey with God.  We
especially remember...

We remember and give thanks for all that Chip was - her warmth, her humor, her giggle, her compassion,
her love of metaphors and theological reflections.  We especially remember...

As we remember and give thanks for Chip¹s life, so we also remember ourselves, and we bring to God our
sorrow, our sense of loss, our grief.  We ask that the God of love who embraces us all, be with our EFM
community as we strive to continue in tribute to our lost mentor as a celebration of a ministry which she fully
embraced.
